This qualification is for students interested in Photography.
Course Overview
The structure of the A Level Photography course is similar to that of GCSE. Students develop their understanding of photographic processes, techniques and concepts through practical work and critical study. They build a personal portfolio, exploring themes and ideas that reflect their individual interests.
Entrance Requirements
To study A Level Photography, students require a GCSE Grade 6 or equivalent in Photography, Art and Design or a related subject. Students who have not studied a Visual Arts GCSE may be required to attend an interview and present a portfolio of work.
