The BTEC Dance course, equivalent to a single A-Level, is an exciting and practical pathway for students passionate about dance. This course combines practical performance with academic study, offering a comprehensive understanding of the dance world. It’s ideal for students who want a creative and hands-on approach to learning, but would also like to study other subjects alongside particularly those who are considering further education or a career in the performing arts industry.

Entrance Requirements

To study Level 3 Dance, students require a GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English. Dance GCSE or BTEC Level 2 is advantageous but not essential. Students should also show an interest in Dance.

Students will also require prior dance training and dance qualifications in any discipline. They will be required to audition, which will consist of a Ballet and Jazz and Contemporary Dance class and an interview with our panel of teachers.
